OPR is Open PageRank, a 0–10 PageRank calculated on the open Common Crawl link graph — a free, independent counterpart to Ahrefs DR. Different indexes, so the numbers rarely match — use them together, not in isolation.
The authority score is 100 minus 10 times the base-10 logarithm of the domain's position in the Tranco list, a research-grade ranking of the most visited domains built from several traffic sources. Rank 1 scores 100, rank 1,000 scores 70, rank 1,000,000 scores 40. It is a traffic-based proxy comparable in spirit to Moz DA or Ahrefs DR, but it is not those metrics and does not measure backlinks.

The free Moz tier gives a small monthly allowance, so the checker shows how many rows are left, serves DA/PA/Spam from a 30-day cache for domains seen recently, and falls back to Cloudflare Radar's domain-ranking bucket plus the Tranco-based authority score for everything else. A banner tells you when that fallback is active.
Strong means a well-ranked, established domain with no warning flags. Moderate and Low describe weaker traffic. Weak, Unranked and Avoid usually point to link farms, expired domains or brand-new sites — always confirm that a site links out with dofollow and has real editorial content before paying for a placement.
